Global PETS ForumThe network event for the pet industry and tradeThe yearly Global PETS Forum (GPF) is a professional conference initiated and organized by PETS International. Each edition of the GPF takes place in a different European city and is built around a particular theme. Approximately 200 decision makers of the industry are inspired by professional speakers and enjoy the networking opportunities offered by what is considered to be “the networking event of the industry”. Networking opportunitiesAn important part of the programme is Power Networking, a proven system which is sure to bring attendees into contact with lots of potential business partners in a short period of time. Additionally, both the Wednesday evening get-together and the Social Evening on Thursday are designed to meet people and talk business. On Friday afternoon, after the closing of the programme and following lunch, the GPF conference room and lobby remain open to participants seeking bilateral, one-to-one discussions, et cetera. These networking opportunities are used by the attendees to meet with potential business partners. The GPF has often been called “the place where mega-deals are being closed”. Visitor profileThe Global PETS Forum is limited to 200 participants in order to keep the networking aspect of the congress manageable. Experience has shown that GPF attendees are mainly top managers (President, CEO, Senior Manager) from the internationally active companies in the pet industry. They invest their time in the GPF to be inspired to innovate their businesses, but first and foremost to meet international business partners and close contracts with them.
